The Centre for Global Awareness (CGA) is a Development Education Centre based in Winchester. CGA provides training for educationalists across all phases of education throughout Hampshire (including Portsmouth and Southampton) and the Isle of Wight.

We work with educators in the promotion of critical thinking for active and deeper learning by supporting them to encourage children and young people to explore challenging global issues including sustainable development, social justice and human rights.

Our aim is to promote empathy, respect for diversity and commitment to global equity and to inspire individual action for a fairer and more sustainable world.
